Delivered as an apprenticeship for currently signed up apprentice sprinkler fitter, the qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to install and maintain fire protection systems in both domestic and commercial building.
A qualification designed for individuals already working in the Fire Protection Industry and seeking to obtain specific state Fire Protection Licenses.
COURSE CURRENTLY UNDER REDEVELOPMENT, ENQUIRE IN 2019. Suitable for those currently in the industry or those preparing for a career as Fire System Designer. FiT covers the preparation of technical designs and documentation for water based fire suppression systems and fire detection warning systems in this qualification.
If you are currently working in the fire protection industry, have a working knowledge of Control and Indicating Equipment (CIE). This course provides an in-depth look at how CIA functions as part of Fire Alarm Systems. You will learn to sequence and undertake the required tasks and how to complete test reports in accordance with AS1851-2012 on a variety of CIE.
Delivered to experienced workers seeking endorsement in Queensland or Victoria, to install, maintain & test domestic & residential fire sprinklers.
Successfully completing this course will allow currently registered Sprinkler Fitters to apply for a qualified persons Extinguishing Agent Handling License (EAHL) 2 & 3.
This 5-day course is run on PPTEU RDO's from 8:00am - 4:00pm and provides the skill and knowledge to produce 2D drawings using CAD software.
Satisfies SA registration requirements for workers testing & inspecting fire sprinklers and/or suppression systems under AS1851.
