VICTORIAN & QUEENSLAND DELIVERY
This course is designed for currently registered Sprinkler Fitters. Successful completion of the course meets the requirement for applying for a qualified persons Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (EAHL) 2 & 3.
DURATION AND STRUCTURE
This 4-day course is run on PPTEU RDO's from 7:30am - 4:00pm. It is delivered at the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC), 6/306 Albert St Brunswick and is run subject to demand based on confirmed enrolments.
UNITS OF COMPETENCY
Course duration, units of competency and course fees are based on an individual having completed a Certificate III in Fire Protection after 1999 and may include some or all of the units of competency below:

Persons holding a pre-1999 qualification should contact Fire Industry Training for information regarding course content, duration and pricing.
It is recommended that students are able to demonstrate Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING AND CREDIT TRANSFER
Not applicable to this short course.
QUALIFICATION AND STATEMENT
A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon successfully completion of the course.
This qualification offers pathways into industry specific short course or a higher level qualification designed to maximise employability, including CPC50509 Diploma of Fire Systems Design - Water Stream.
Licence applications are made directly to the relevant licensing authority.
FiT offers a range of accredited and non-accredited courses which do not attract government funding. Eligible individuals may attract industry or employee fund subsidies. As these arrangements vary from state to state and according to an individual’s circumstances, please contact FiT to discuss these options.
