OVERVIEW
VICTORIAN DELIVERY
This 2-day program is an in-depth look at how Control Indicating Equipment (CIE) functions, covering the knowledge required for monthly & six-monthly inspecting and testing, as well as completing task reports in accordance with AS1851-2012.
DURATION AND STRUCTURE
This 2-day course is delivered at one of our centres of excellence and is run subject to demand based on confirmed enrolments.
UNITS OF COMPETENCY
This course is based on a single unit of competency CPPFES2047A Inspect & Test Control & Indicating Equipment.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To be accepted in this course you must be currently working in the fire protection industry and have a working knowledge of Control and Indicating Equipment.
It is recommended that students are able to demonstrate Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING AND CREDIT TRANSFER
Not applicable to this short course.
QUALIFICATION AND STATEMENT
A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon successfully completion of the course.
